Glass Frit Painting
Surfacing. Revealing fears, appearing through layers of dense color, fog. Finding substance and body, the things that are beneath it all. Insecurity. Buried under the weight of feeling. Trying to get out, to be strong. Revealed.
Glass drawings, layered with clear sheet and colored crushed glass. Built, fired, the process is repeated many times. Each piece takes many firings and weeks to produce. Each is one of a kind and tells it's own story.
